Sarjan wants to educate not just the minds of children but also their hearts as it will empower them to earn their livelihood and lead a dignified life. We provide support to opportunity deprived students through scholarships and coaching. Life skills training, value-based education, leadership skills, yoga and meditation are some of the additional benefits the students get.
Health
Sarjan Foundation organizes eye check-up camps in the rural hinterland of Prantij in Sabarkantha district of Gujarat, to ensure that people have proper eyesight.
Livelihoods
Sarjan runs various employment linked skill enhancement programs for the opportunity deprived youth from socio-economically weaker sections of society. The objective is to build capabilities that help them take up livelihood opportunities.
Sarjan Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of the underserved. We believe that when individuals are denied opportunities, they are at risk of being pushed to the margins of society — often leading to cycles of poverty, vulnerability, and in some cases, addiction or crime. Every year, our programs directly benefit over 18,000 people across more than 200 remote villages in Gujarat. From training youth in contemporary skills and providing financial support to school and college students, to creating livelihoods for women and delivering essential healthcare services, we ensure that opportunities reach those who need them most.

BADRI (Benevolent Accelerated Development and Reconstruction Initiative) is a residential learning center for children aged 10–11 years from underserved communities, designed to provide holistic, multilingual, and experiential education. With a capacity to host 108 students, BADRI nurtures children over a 6–8 year journey, preparing them to successfully complete their Xth and XIIth GSOS board examinations and equipping them for higher education and careers.
Our approach moves beyond traditional classrooms — encouraging children to learn at their own pace with gentle guidance. We focus on building strong foundations in language skills (English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Sanskrit) and mathematical rigor, while ensuring multi-skilling opportunities in vocational areas. Equal importance is placed on sports, music, art, and cultural activities, fostering well-rounded individuals who are physically, intellectually, culturally, and aesthetically developed.
In addition to residential schooling, BADRI has recently launched an Early Childhood Education Centre within the same campus for younger children (ages 3–6 years). This initiative provides a nurturing start through play-based learning, early literacy and numeracy, and activities that build curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional skills. By beginning education at an earlier stage, BADRI aims to give children a strong foundation that will help them transition smoothly into formal learning and thrive in later years.

In 2024, BADRI celebrated its first graduating batch, with students now pursuing Bachelor in Computer Applications, English, ITI programs, and preparing for competitive and defense exams. BADRI’s graduates are not only academically accomplished but also confident, skilled, and socially responsible young citizens. The addition of the Early Childhood Centre ensures that the journey of holistic development now begins right from the formative years.

Health & Education Support From training just 54 candidates in 2007 to empowering more than 1,000 individuals every year today, Sarjan Foundation has steadily expanded its impact across education, livelihood, health, and environment. Our programs now reach people at every stage of life — supporting expectant mothers, helping schoolchildren and dropouts, guiding college youth into meaningful careers, and enabling women to build self-reliant futures. Looking ahead, we are focused on scaling our proven models across Gujarat and beyond, expanding training capacities at MARG, RFSTC, BADRI, and SHAKTI, and forging stronger industry partnerships in robotics, IT, and automation. A key priority is to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for women by building co-operative models and market linkages that ensure fair wages, quality standards, and doorstep access to work. At the same time, we are deepening our environmental initiatives through ProEnviron and strengthening holistic education at BADRI, preparing confident, multilingual, and socially responsible young citizens. The road ahead is clear — to transform skills into livelihoods, education into empowerment, and compassion into lasting change for generations to come.
By understanding Capabilities, Capacities, Interest, and Inclination towards Academics, Sports, Theatre, Arts, Drama, Music, or other vocational skills, curated inputs can be provided. Thus honing the skill sets of the kids. Enabling these kids in environment of joyful learning by grouping them into cohorts made according to their learning levels rather than their age is our constant endeavor.
Enhancing Skills: Sarjan Foundation aims at providing training into futuristic skills which shall help the youth get sustainable employment opportunities and living life with dignity.
Touching more lives: Sarjan Foundation believes in reaching out to more and more people in need. We plan to open more such training centres all over India where learning never stops and it is accessible to all.
Building Stronger Social Fabric: With urbanisation speeding up and cities getting crowded, SF believes in strengthening our roots. To improve the social fabric of our country, it is necessary to uplift rural India. SF aims to train youth in entrepreneurship and other related skills, equip them with technical knowledge where they go back to their village and generate sustainable income opportunities for themselves and others.

In our Rampura Vadla centre, a total of 300+ opportunity deprived candidates are being trained to provide them sustainable and dignified livelihood opportunities.

Sarjan organizes eye check-up camps in the rural areas of Prantij to curb needless blindness caused largely through cataract and glaucoma. Benefiting over 1 lakh people so far, cataract surgeries are done for free for identified patients. Each eye camp costs around INR 60000.
Each year Sarjan awards scholarships to students of Primary to Post Graduate level and professional courses from the neediest strata of life.
Contribute towards the scholarship fund and help the students from an underprivileged background to progress ahead in life.
